Westpac email scam

There is currently an email being circulated advising users “Your Westpac Card has been locked”. This email is not only targeted to Westpac customers.

The email body states “We have been unable to verify your card details. Our records indicate that we don’t have sufficient contact details on file for you. Please click the link below to update your card details”

The link indicated that this is redirecting to a non westpac website – icloud.us20.list-manage.com

This email is currently getting through spam filters as there are spaces, secret characters and dots in the body. This can be noticed if you look closely.

We advise anyone who has received this email to ignore it and not not click any of the email links. Should you have any questions please call your bank.
